About Yenna: Kerrie Thomsen
Aunty Yenna Kerrie Thomsen holds the space for professional development and capacity building for allied health professionals wanting to develop their cultural responsiveness and allyship with First Nations People. She shares her ways of knowing, being, and doing as a First Nations Occupational Therapist with over 40 years experience. She brings 9 years academic experience including as an Associate Professor with the Australian Catholic University – OT Department leading the process for decolonizing the curriculum for the past 9 years.
About this Community of Practice:
This community of practice membership is suitable for allied health practitioners such as Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and Social Workers. We are welcoming new members to our group. Our Panel and our members with a wide range of Professional experience are open and supportive. We can assist those health professionals starting out their Allyship journey as well as celebrate those members who have many years of culturally responsive work experience. Explore the Allyship role within Culturally responsive practice. Develop ownership and achieve professional research to practice goals that can transform our future workplaces and allied health professional practice!
The annual membership fee is $97 (inclusive of GST) per person. Proof of allied health professional status via Association or AHPRA membership number is required.
Memberships are accepted on a rolling basis.

- Private chat forum
- Online storytelling group
- Access to recommended articles and resources.
The seven live Webinars are scheduled per calendar year. (Time 4:00 – 5:30pm)
